Designed by Rachel Doragh and inspired by the Season of Creation 2026 theme, Living Water, this design draws on Ezekiel’s vision of living waters flowing from the temple. The temple represents the dwelling place of the Creator within creation – a symbol of relationship and of the God-who-is-love bringing that love into the midst of all creation, from which flows life in abundance.
The familiar symbol of a heart represents this relationship and love from which the living waters flow. A pīwakawaka, tuatara and tawa tree represent plants, birds and animals, all flowing from the same intertwined waters. Together they reflect the connected nature of the ecosystem – an intricate web in which each part is bound together and interdependent, allowing life to flourish.
